Moultrie, GA (WALB) – One Moultrie murder suspect is in jail, but authorities continue to search for another they consider armed and dangerous.

Tobias Thomas surrendered at the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office Sunday afternoon. Moultrie Police are still looking for Willie Hightower, whose mugshot was not available.

They're accused in the July 2nd murder of Alvin Hunt who was shot outside the Shy Manor Terrace Apartments in Northwest Moultrie.

Police believe Thomas was also involved in the home invasion of Jimmy Myers last week on 11th Court. 14-year-old Dontavious Jackson was previously charged in both those crimes.

Two other suspects are in jail accused in last week's home invasion.
