BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) – A 4-year-old girl from Bainbridge was rushed to a hospital after nearly drowning.

Officials tell us Cobe Harper was at the Bainbridge Y for tennis camp.  Around 11:30 Wednesday, tennis instructor Justin Gravlee spotted her under water in the pool and jumped in to rescue her.

A swimming instructor performed CPR until paramedics arrived.  Harper was taken to Bainbridge Memorial Hospital, then transferred to a pediatric intensive care unit in Tallahassee.

We do not know her condition.

Two lifeguards were on duty at the time.
