A lengthy closed door meeting about the future of Albany's City manager Tuesday ended with word that there could be an announcement about his future by the end of the week.

Commissioners won't tell us specifics of what was talked about... but WALB News 10 has learned that Lott plans to make an announcement about his future as city manager.

We have not been able to reach Al Lott, but we are told by inside sources that he is considering leaving Albany next summer.

His contract expires next September.
