She has no Republican opposition.

Fullerton watched results come in with family and friends at her home tonight after a long day of campaigning.

Fullerton says she has done a good job of listening to her constituents and is glad she'll continue to serve them.

"I'm delighted and very excited we've been working very hard today and I at least put on some dry clothes to visit with friends and family tonight," said Representative Carol Fullerton (D) Albany.

Fullerton plans to work on transportation issues in the next General Assembly session.

She hopes to secure money to widen Highway 133 from Albany to Valdosta and build a new Broad avenue bridge that's more pedestrian friendly.
