ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  At a stop at the Albany airport, Deal said he's the Republican with the best chance of defeating likely Democratic nominee Roy Barnes in November.

"It doesn't matter if you fight the battles and lose the ultimate war. And the ultimate war is to be able to win in November," deal said.

Deal has six opponents in the Republican primary Tuesday.
