Leesburg, GA (WALB) – Attorney Craig Mathis was charged with Possession with intent to distribute narcotics, stemming for a March 19th arrest.
Mathis was charged for possession of Xanax, and the schedule II drug Adderall. Schedule II drugs have a high potential for abuse.
Mathis practiced law in Lee County and Albany for several years. He ran for Congress in 1994, losing to Saxby Chambliss. He ran for State House in 2002. He was the Lee County Prosecutor in 1999.
