FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) –A Ben Hill County pharmacy technician is charged with fraudulently writing prescriptions and selling those pills to local drug dealers.
The Sheriff says Shanndolyn Letisha Brown wrote at least eight fraudulent prescriptions for the painkiller Hydrocodone.
Brown worked as a pharmacy tech for Rite Aid for nine years.
Drug agents started surveillance on Brown and arrested her when she delivered 90 Hydrocodone pills.
She's charged with computer fraud, sale of a controlled substance, and distribution of a controlled substance.
She's in the Ben Hill County Sheriff's Office without bond and could face more charges.
