ALBANY, GA (WALB) -Several days after five gunmen robbed the Winn Dixie grocery store in Moultrie, WALB has obtained surveillance video of the thieves rushing into the store and holding employees at gunpoint.

They were hiding behind drink vending machines just as employees were opening the store before 6:00 Friday morning.

The manager fought to keep the door shut before the group forced its way inside. In less than five minutes, the thieves ran out the front door with an undisclosed amount of money.

"A group of five is a lot," said Cpl. Dave Underwood with the Moultrie Police Department. "This is the first time we've had a store robbed with that many offenders at one time."

Moultrie Police want anyone with information on this robbery to call the anonymous tip line at 229-890-5451.
