Healthy Branch ready for coming NFL season

By Robert Hydrick - bio | email

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany's Deion Branch says he is ready to go when the Seattle Seahawks open training camp in just over two weeks.

The former Super Bowl MVP had a third operation in the last two years on his left knee back in March.

Less than three months later, the former Monroe High star was on the field during Seattle's organized team activities.

His progress during the OTA's drew praise from new Seattle head coach Pete Carroll.

Deion is hoping the rest of the league will see he is back in form now that he is healthy.

Deion Branch said. "I am feeling real good. There is nothing that is holding me back. I had offseason surgery this year. I have been through my rehab. I am already started running and been through practice. Everything is feeling good. So, I am back to normal."

The Seahawks open training camp on July 31st.
