ALBANY,  GA (WALB) – A man with a gunshot wound to the hand showed up an Albany bar Monday night asking for help.

Police say 24-year-old John Brookins III walked into Charlie B's around 11. Minutes earlier he was shot in the hand with a shotgun following an argument near the Village Green Shopping Center.

Officers say he and 20-year-old Malachi Bell got into an argument over money. Brookins walked away, but Bell drove by him in a white Ford Explorer and shot him with a shotgun. Brookins was taken to Phoebe Hospital. Bell was arrested.
