River Pointe wins Challenge Cup

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - River Pointe Country Club has bragging rights as the best golfers in the city.

The River Pointe team on the 2010 Challenge Cup over the weekend at Stonebridge Country Club.

River Pointe was led by Blake Clanton and Spencer Ferrell who as a team shot a 59 in the second round on Sunday.

Greg Perry and Andrew Dismuke also shot a 61 for the River Pointe team led by pro Buster Clark.

Grand Island was second, Stonebridge was third and Doublegate was fourth.
