ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Two Albany State University students were arrested after a pulling a machete and an air gun on an Albany couple.

APD said 18-year-old Akeem Rashad Pruitt and 22-year-old Justin Terrell Pace got involved in an argument between a couple at the Gardens Too Apartments on Kingstown Court.

The men then threatened them with weapons.

Police say Pruitt brandished a machete and waved it at one of the victims, while Pace pulled an air gun and pointed it at one of the victims head.

They were both arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
