Canes land another DI transfer

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Georgia Southwestern basketball team completes its recruiting class with signing Troy University forward Trayce Macon.

Macon has signed a letter of intent to play for Mike Leeder's Hurricanes.

Macon averaged 7.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 16 games for the Trojans this past season.

He played one year at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida before signing with Troy.

Head coach Mike Leeder says he is thrilled to get a player of Trayce's caliber and his ability rounds out the Canes recruiting class. 

The GSW recruiting class also includes DI transfers Colin Slotter (Murray State), Matt Shaw (Lipscomb, Phillip Brown (Air Force Academy) and Talmadge Bell (Coppin State).
