ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Some people in an Albany neighborhood say garbage trucks keep leaving behind a smelly mess.

People who live on Kalman Avenue say garbage trucks have been leaking a putrid liquid on their street for the past few weeks.

They say the hot temperatures make the smell worse.

We were there Thursday as city workers put out commercial grade Pine Sol on the spill before spraying water to clean it up.

Today is Thursday and sure enough it dumped more smelly mess all over, I'm just tired of it." said James High.

Neighbors say the city previously promised to take that truck out of circulation. They say they hope that happens this time.
