VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –A Moultrie man is now charged in a Quitman shooting and carjacking.

Quitman Police say Nyneson Jeudy is the man who fired shots that wounded Tony Denard on June 21. Jeudy was picked up Wednesday night in Moultrie.

He's charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime.

Denard's SUV was also stolen that night as he tried to help men thought to be having car trouble.

The two other men previously arrested are 17-year old Lavernell Lamons and 19-year old Jarrett Sutton.
