HOMERVILLE, GA (WALB) –Homerville Police are searching for two home invaders who pistol whipped a man and stole tens of thousands of dollars from him.

Two men held 31-year-old old Mike Singhani at gunpoint and beat him in the head with a pistol around 6 Thursday morning inside his Virginia Avenue home.

The men got away with $52,000 in cash and checks.

The robbers had their faces covered and were wearing black jackets.

Singhani was taken to Clinch Memorial Hospital and treated for injuries.

They're also offering a reward that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
