CAIRO, GA (WALB) –A Florida man is charged with vehicular homicide in a crash that killed a Cairo man over the holiday weekend.

Thursday night, a car wrecked on Highway 111 South in Grady County.

Troopers say the driver lost control and slammed into a tree.

A passenger, 24-year old Miguel Encina-Cornado was killed.

Now the driver, 24-year old Rafeal Zuniga, is charged with vehicular homicide, DUI, failure to maintain a lane and suspended license.

The Georgia State Patrol's Special Collision Reconstruction Team is continuing an investigation.
