The Georgia Southwestern men's tennis team had no problem winning their first match at the NAIA National Championship at the South Fulton Teenis Club in Peachtree City.
The Hurricanes, seeded third in the national tournament, beat Lewis-Clark State College of Idaho 5-0 to advance to the quarterfinals.
A sweep of the doubles matches gave Georgia Southwestern a 3-love lead and it got even better when number one Roman Sauze and number two Todd Hiscox won their singles matches in straight sets.
Georgia Southwestern (16-5) will play Webber International University in the quarterfinals.
The Georgia Southwestern Lady Hurricanes were eliminated in a tough 5-4 loss to Southern Nazarene in Monday's first round.
