Moultrie, GA (WALB) – Investigators are certain someone knows something that could help them. Alvin Hunt, Junior died from injuries just hours after he was shot Friday night outside the Shy Manor Terrace Apartments.
Moultrie Police won't talk about a possible motive or whether they believe Hunt was the intended target. They say several people may be responsible.
Police want people with information about the crime to come forward.
"They can call in anonymously, just because they don't leave their name doesn't mean we won't follow that lead or look into that information," said Moultrie Police Cpl. Dave Underwood.
A weapon bearing Alvin Hunt, Junior's name is in the evidence locker at the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office, but police won't say anything about it. The GBI is also involved in the investigation.
If you know anything about the shooting, Investigators want you to call the GBI in Thomasville or Moultrie Police at (229) 890-5451.
