    An Albany man arrived home to find his pool completely destroyed. He's not sure what happened, but the wall caved in and the concrete cracked. He says he's had the siding redone several times.More >>

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -One Albany woman is out almost $12,000 after someone stole form her own backyard.

Dougherty County Police report thieves stole two riding lawn mowers worth $10,000 dollars combined from 81-year old Nancy Cannida's barn.

Police say they stole several push mowers, a tractor rake, work tables, cabinets and saws from her. They also stole several tools from her garage.

Someone who does her yard work noticed the missing items Monday. The owner says the last time she remembers her equipment being there was in March.
