VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –Breaking news in Valdosta where law officers are looking for a home invasion suspect.

Authorities are searching the area in North Lowndes County around Val Del Road.

Around one this afternoon, a thirteen year old called 911 to report two men breaking into his house.

Operators told him to hide and stay on the phone. When a deputy to to the house, a man drove off but didn't make it far.

The deputy shot out one of his tires. He got out of the car and ran. Right now investigators are still looking for him.
