G. F. Peterman, III, Acting United States Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, announces that Trentavius Arline, age 27, of Pelham, Georgia, was sentenced on July 1, 2010 to federal prison by the Honorable W. Louis Sands, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Georgia.
Arline pleaded guilty to distribution of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine base, also known as "crack" cocaine, within 1000 feet of real property comprising a housing facility owned by a public housing authority, to wit: Bennetta Cochran Homes located in Pelham, Georgia, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(C), and 860(a).
Arline was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of 188 months followed by six years to serve on supervised release.
This case was investigated by the Pelham Police Department, and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jason M. Ferguson.
