Lee County- Lee County residents, leaders and the Governor broke ground Saturday on the Oakland Meadows Industrial Park. The first tenant is Kem-Nut Distribution Center. The 150, 000 square distribution center provides agricultural chemicals for the Southeastern part of the United States.

Governor Perdue says the park will help Lee County and South Georgia grow economically. Still in the works are plans to bring two or three other business to the new industrial park.
