FRENCH LICK, IN (WALB) - Sylvester's Sonny Skinner is tied for the lead halfway through the PGA Professional National Championship being played at French Lick Resort in Indiana.
Skinner shot a 69 on Monday and is tied with Rick Moss at -3.
The third round is Tuesday and the final round is Wednesday.
In junior golf, Lowndes's Sam Straka wins a qualifying tournament for the U.S. Junior Amateur in Michigan next month.
Straka shot a 66 in the second final round to finish at -5 and he won by five shots.
