VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –Valdosta police are investigating a home invasion that could be related to the shooting that happened Sunday night.

On Saturday night, a man asked 20-year old Joseph Grullon for a lighter at his home on Magnolia Street. When Grullon went inside to find one, the man followed him and demanded money.

Grullon walked away from him. The man then fired several shots and ran away.

"There was another incident on Sunday involving a shooting, not saying they are related, but they're looking into every possibility," said Valdosta Police Lt. Aaron Kirk.

No one was harmed in the home invasion. The suspect didn't take anything.
