ALBANY, GA (WALB) -Some senior citizens danced the night away Friday night.

The Electric Slide was one of the popular dances at the Senior Prom the Albany Recreation and Parks Department organized for people 50 and older.

A couple of lucky ladies even won a limo ride to the event. Members with the Albany Police Department and Marines were the special guests.

"We know marines love to serve their country so what better way to bring someone in like the marines to have a good time," said Parks and Recreation Department Supervisor," Tee Taylor.

Organizers say this was a chance for some seniors who may not have been able to attend their prom as teenagers to enjoy
