VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - There are many summer baseball tournaments for high school teams but the Lowndes South Georgia Diamond Baseball Brawl is one of the best.
The tournament attracts the top programs from Georgia and Florida for four days worth of games at seven different fields.
The host Lowndes varsity team defeated Brantley County Friday morning and will play Friday night against Sarasota.
The South Georgia Diamond Brawl will run through Saturday at Lowndes, Valdosta High, Brooks County, Colquitt County, Cook, Thomas County Central and Lanier County.
