MONTICELLO, ARK (WALB) - The preseason honors are not just limited to the Division II level.

Former Lee County offensive lineman Tripp Boatner has been named a 2nd team selection to the Lindy's Preseason All-American team.

Boatner is preparing for his senior season at Arkansas-Monticello in the Gulf South Conference.

He has started 22 straight games on the offensive line which was fourth in the GSC in passing last year.

Arkansas Monticello opens the season September 2nd against West Alabama.
