ATLANTA, GA (WALB) - With only two rounds, there are not many players who are selected in the NBA draft.
The former Randolph-Clay star did work out with the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday morning.
He also has worked out for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Even if he isn't drafted, a team may sign the Georgia State star to play in the summer league. Dukes says he also has a couple of offers from European teams he is considering. It is the NBA where Joe wants to play and maybe his showing in his workouts will convince someone to take a chance.
Joe Dukes said. "If you work out for one team, everybody knows about you. My names is out there but it is not a John Wall or nothing. He is the number one pick. He is great. It doesn't matter. I will play pro ball. It doesn't matter." Joe Dukes led Georgia State in scoring this season.
