ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Despite tough economic times, Albany city leaders balanced the upcoming year's budget without much trouble. Tuesday night, city commissioners unanimously approved the budget for the fiscal year that starts July 1st. Some late additions put the budget at just more than $105 million. It does not include a tax increase, furloughs, or layoffs.
