ALBANY, GA (WALB) --  Prosecutors questioned witnesses in the first full day of testimony in the murder trial for an Albany woman accused of beating an 88-year old woman to death.

Among those testifying were Albany Police Investigators and GBI agents.

Tiffany Wise is charged with murdering Mabel Berry at her West Highland Home May third of last year.

Prosecutors say Wise beat Berry with a rock then dragged her body to the backyard and covered it with a blanket. Berry was a Bible teacher and mentor at the Albany Rescue Mission where Wise lived.
