A South Georgia family asks for your help to make sure a caregiver accused of stealing from their injured sister is brought to justice.

Police are looking for 34-year old Santennial Elaine Harris on forgery charges. They say she stole more than $9000 from Martha Castleberry,  when she cared for Castleberry following a serious car crash.

Police say Harris forged and cashed 15 checks between March and May.

Castleberry's sister and brother-in-law warn you to be careful when you hire a caregiver. Guerry Fleming said "You should have enough patience to do a background check on anybody you are going to have in your home."

Jo Fleming said "She came in with such good attitude. She just seemed like a very nice person, and she also had us fooled. But she talked about going to church and this and that and prayer meetings."

Family members say the $9000 is a big part of Castleberry's life savings, and they will not quit until Harris is caught.

If you have any information about her call CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS.  You could earn a reward.
