ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Former Georgia Southwestern baseball star Zach Stanton is getting the chance to play pro ball.

Stanton signed with Evansville Otters of the independent Frontier League after a tryout.

Stanton batted .324 with 6 homeruns this past season.

He joins former Hurricane pitcher Paul Bush as former GSW players in pro ball.

Bush is with the Yankees AA affiliate in Trenton.
