ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A man was found dead in the yard of an abandoned house in South Albany Wednesday morning.

The man's body was found around nine o'clock outside a vacant duplex on East Residence Avenue.

People who live in the area spotted him and called 9-1-1.

His body has been taken to the crime lab for identification and to determine how he died.
