TIFTON, GA (WALB) –
State Troopers are still trying to determine why a Tift County woman slammed her car into a train last night.
Sixty-six year old Mary Lee Davis Dooley was killed on impact.
Dooley's Dodge Intrepid hit the train at a crossing on Golden Road, just south of Tifton, just after nine last night.
Troopers say there were no skid marks, indicating that she never braked before she hit the train.
Dooley was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no one else in her car.
