Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.More >>
An Albany woman was found dead in her swimming pool this morning.
Albany Police say 76-year old DeLoyce Strickland Manley was found floating face down in the pool at her home on Partridge Drive.
She was found by a handyman who worked for her.
Police don't yet know her cause of death.
Manley was the widow of prominent Albany businessman Gayle Manley.
