HOUSTON COUNTY, GA (WALB) - We have an update ON a drowning in Warner Robbins that claimed the life of a Sumter County deputy's young child.

The Houston County coroner says three-year old Austin Gary was swimming in his mom's pool in Warner Robbins.

He was in a shallow kiddie pool when some how he got into another deeper, above-ground pool and drowned.

The coroner says Gary's sister found him unresponsive. He was pronounced dead just before 7:00. The victim is the son of Sumter County Deputy Tyler Gary.
