    Ravi Mikel Givens was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He is being held in the Dougherty County jail. Givens, who played ball at Westover and Stetson
    Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –A copper theft investigation turns up a drug operation.

The metal theft case led Lowndes County authorities to mobile home on Cedar Street Wednesday where they found 44 marijuana plants.

They charged 32-year old Kimberly Parsley, 17-year old James McCollum, and 42-year old Todd Parsley with marijuana possession, manufacturing marijuana, and having the tools to grow the drug.

Todd Parsley is also charged with having a stolen 357 magnum.

Investigators found the plants in the master bedroom, greenhouse, and woods behind the house.
