ALBANY, GA (WALB) – An Albany man was injured Thursday when his SUV was broadsided and overturned.
38-year-old Abraham Benjamin Jordan was headed north on Jefferson Street about 3:00PM when 58-year-old Virginia Tompkins of Newton ran the stop sign at Jefferson and Roosevelt.
Her Buick hit the Explorer's rear passenger side, spun it around and it overturned.
Neither driver was seriously injured and both were written tickets; Tompkins for failure to yield and Jordan for suspended tag and no insurance.
