THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

By LeiLani Golden - bio | email

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) –  While out patrolling, Thomas County officers spotted Macon Bernard Mango, a man known to them because of past dealings and previous drug charges.

When agents approached to talk to him, he took off running.

They caught him and backtracked the way in order to see if he'd thrown anything down.

They found a zip-tight bag that contained loose marijuana and 14 smaller baggies of marijuana.

Mango admitted that he had the pot, and was arrested.

This is the second drug bust in this area this week.
