ALBANY,  GA (WALB) – Two Flash Foods gas stations in Albany were robbed at gunpoint Monday morning and police are still looking for the suspects.

Albany police say just after 3AM the Flash Foods at 2701 Gillionville Road was robbed when three black men all carrying guns rushed in the store with bandanas over their faces demanding money. Albany police showed up only moments after it happened. Dougherty County police assisted with their dogs and searched the area with no luck.

Then, only thirty minutes later, the Flash Foods at 2447 North Slappey Blvd. was hit. The clerk told police three men wearing black t-shirts over their faces, rushed in the store, pointed guns at him, and demanded money from the register. The clerk says he gave the robbers money and they ran out the door. Surveillance cameras captured the whole thing. No one was hurt in the robberies.

Police say it's likely the two incidents are related. No arrests have been made but police believe the get-a-way vehicle is a '92 dark green Honda Accord.

If you have any information on the robberies, call crimestoppers at 436-TIPS.
