ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany Police are investigating a late night shooting.

Around 11:50 Sunday night at least one gunman broke into a home in the 200 block of Morningside Drive.

Police say a 42-year-old Hispanic man tried to pick up an object to fight off the suspect, and was shot once. The victim was transported to the hospital we do not have his name or condition. The suspect is still at large.
