CAMILLA, GA (WALB) – Friends and family help south Georgia's newest Centenarian celebrate her birthday.

Ruth Grogan celebrated her 100th birthday Sunday. Grogan is from Sale City in Mitchell County, and still lives in her own home.

She was a housewife and is still active in her church. The centenarian has six children, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great- grand children.

She still cooks and works in her yard, we asked her what was her secret is to living so long.

"If I tell anybody my secret it wouldn't be a secret anymore, if I was to tell anybody," said Ruth Grogan, 100-years-old.

Though she won't give us all her secrets, the family she lives a healthy lifestyle, stays busy, and loves the Lord.

In her 100 years, Ruth has never had a driver's license.
