ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Douglas Police are asking for help to find a murder suspect.

We checked with investigators Sunday and they say 33-year old Jonathan Thompson could be armed and dangerous.

Thompson who is also known as "Jon Jon", he is wanted in the shooting death of 18-year-old Demea Andrews.

Andrews was shot in the back last November at Roundtree Park on Gaskin Avenue.

Police say the shooting may have stemmed from an earlier argument between the victim and several men at the Legion Night Club. They believe Thompson was the triggerman.

If you have any information on Thompson's whereabouts call the Douglas Police Department at (912) 384-2222 or Cpl. Antonio Ward at (912) 393-4634. A $1,000 reward is being offered in the case.
