Wet & Wild & Out of this world

ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Planning your summer vacation? You may want to think about staying close to home.

The Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau put together a Wet and Wild and out of this world package for summer entertainment. A family of four can get tickets to the Flint Riverquarium, Civil Rights Institute, Thronateeska Heritage Center, Albany Museum of Art, and Chehaw, plus a one night stay at a hotel that includes breakfast.

Lisa Riddle said,  "It's kind of like a staycation. Even somebody from Albany, if they just want to get away and go spend the night in a hotel and swim in their swimming pool and then go to the attractions, it's still like going on vacation without spending all the money for gas and everything else."

The packages start at $110 and go up to $149 depending on the hotel. The deal is good through September 6th.
