Darton basketball coach Laura Blackwell has continued her tradition of sending her players to four-year schools.
Lady Cavalier standouts Myeshia Choice and Kaleena Coleman are now Laker girls.
Choice, a Thomas County Central High School product, signed a scholarship to play for Clayton State University in Morrow.
She averaged ten points a game this past season and was second in the state junior college conference in assists averaging almost five a game.
Teammate Kaleena "Cadillac" Coleman may soon join Choice at Clayton State.
Coleman has committed to sign with the Lakers.
A Calhoun County high school product, Kaleena Coleman averaged nine points a game and had 67 steals this past season.
To help ease the loss of these two all-star players, Darton yesterday signed Turner County guards Lace Burdett and Tiffany Denham.
