ALBANY, GA (WALB) – An Atlanta man is arrested for child sexual exploitation for his Internet chats with what he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

Turns out he was on line with an undercover Investigator with the Dougherty County Police.

29-year-old Bryan Stern is being held in the Fulton County jail for sexual exploitation of a child and obscene Internet contact with a child.

"It is one of our main focuses, to try to keep children safe on the Internet.  We spend as much time as we can on it," said Dougherty County Police Captain Jimmy Sexton.

U.S. Marshal's arrested Stern at his home about 3:00 Tuesday afternoon. Dougherty County Police, as a member of the GBI"s Internet Crimes Against Children network, had undercover investigators chatting with Stern on line since early May.

Stern is now in the Dougherty County jail, as the investigation continues.
