ALBANY, GA (WALB) –     Hurricane season started Tuesday and it's a good time to make sure you're prepared for severe weather.

We've had scattered heavy thunderstorms this week. And we know hurricanes and tropical storms can spawn tornadoes and cause flooding in our area.

A weather radio can help make sure you know if severe weather is on the way.

You can get a good deal on a radio at your local Harvey's Supermarket.

"We have weather radios in stock at all Harvey's Supermarkets ready for the hurricane season," says, Harvey's store manager Pam Manders.

The Midland Radios cost $29.99.

Harvey's stores have plenty in stock.
