PERRY, GA (WALB) - Citizens Christian's state championship win over Crisp Academy on Monday closed out the baseball season in the GISA.
Now it is time for the postseason awards to be delivered.
Deerfield-Windsor has two Knights to make the AAA all state team in pitcher Christpher Moates and shortstop Banks Kinslow.
IN AA, Sherwood Christian pitcher-catcher Zane Hood makes the all-state team along with three members of the state runnerup Tiftarea squad Aaron Estes, Sumner McWhorter and West Carter and SGA catcher Austin Boyd.
Class A state champion Citizens Christian has five all state players including the player of the year in Cody Ragsdale and coach of the year Greg Roberts.
The other Patriot all-state players are Mikey Rodriguez, Hunter Pate, Keegan Ellis and Blake Hendley.
State runner-up Crisp Academy's also has five all state selections including J.T. Carter, James Bodrey, Patrick Fay, Anthony Berrera and Les Cromer.
Cole Phillips and Colby Blackburn represent Terrell Academy.
Randolph-Southern's Jon Floyd and Andrew Bacon also make the all state team along with Dylan Gay, Brandon Bailey and John Harvey from Fullington and Grant Colson from Georgia Christian School in Dasher.
