ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Panthers kicker Juan Bongarra has been special for the team this season.
The former Albany State kicker earned his third Southern Indoor Football League special teams player of the week.
Bongarra kicked four field goals in last weeks game at Louisiana.
Three of them were 30 yards are greater including a 57-yard effort.
That had Bongarra kicking from the other endzone trying to put the football through goal posts less than ten feet apart.
Juan Bongarra said. "At the same time it is only a 57 yard field goal outside. I just have confidence in myself that I could do it. I went out there and had faith in my team and we did it."
The Albany Panthers host Greenville at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
